THE COMPANY'S SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMME

IS CHAMPIONED BY OUR KING'S AWARD FOR INNOVATION 

 

Our team lead the industry with its award winning non-invasive archaeological investigative techniques. These innovations limit the amount of excavation required and therefore reduce soil disturbance and release of carbon. Reduction in the use of heavy excavation machinery provides the added benefit of reducing diesel emissions.

 

To support our sustainability programme we implement a ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ approach across our work, employing digital recording systems for efficiency and minimal waste on site. Our systems monitor the recycling of equipment including plastics such as hard hats, pens and finds bags, whilst actively seeking additional ways to make our supplies and waste streams more sustainable. We also support the Derbyshire Net Zero Accelerator Programme which helps businesses improve their energy, resource and operational efficiencies, and as Woodland Trust corporate members, actively help create, restore and protect UK woodland.

We are confident we have an industry renowned sustainability programme, all of which is underpinned by ISO14001 certification which offers a proven track record of management for environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
